The energy at On Call Triage is palpable, and we haven’t stopped evolving. In an industry being flooded with advancements in artificial intelligence, chat-bots and automated voice response, On Call Triage understands the need to leverage technology and build in efficiencies we can pass along as value to our customers. But we also know that nothing replaces the essence of what makes us human: a conversation between two people. Giovanni Colon
Giovanni’s innovative, forward-thinking and ambitious stature creates an organizational culture where the On Call Triage team are able to grow and exceed. He is a leader who inspires, encourages, and offers opportunities to make the world a better place. With over 10+ years in the Information Technology industry, Giovanni has built his career by creating innovative solutions for real-world challenges. At twenty-three years old, Giovanni launched and sold a company with no publication. Now Still in his thirties he’s the founder and CEO of On Call Triage as well as the Founder and CEO of several other businesses. In 2015 Giovanni founded his second successful company, G&L Executive, providing high-end livery transportation services. This was followed by several others. Due to the overwhelming success of his investments, in 2018 Giovanni launched a revolutionary live answering triage center, On Call Triage, that has experienced explosive growth. Most recently Giovanni has founded and serves as the President of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that offers a structured program as an educational platform specifically designed for football and cheerleading in the west suburbs.

Sonya Burns
With more than 15 years of clinical experience, Sonya brings a strong and compassionate healthcare background to her role as Chief Operating Officer at On Call Triage. A graduate with honors from Brown Mackie College in Merrillville, IN, she has built her career across hospice, home health, substance-abuse medical detox, and long-term care.
Her passion for helping others and her belief in making a meaningful impact one patient at a time drives her commitment to elevating the after-hours triage experience. Sonya combines her hands-on clinical expertise, customer-service excellence, and innovative leadership to strengthen quality, improve response workflows, and support the organizations that rely on On Call Triage every day. Dedicated, solutions-focused, and patient/customer-centered, Sonya continues to shape the standard for reliable and compassionate after-hours care.
